This square is based on the Small Fluffy Cloud pattern, but uses a cream colour for the clouds. The clouds are knitted upside down so the "v" shape of the stitches follow the shape of the cloud rather than sticking out.
Here I have indicated the colour needed for each row by the colour of each grid cell.
Because the cream colour section is reverse stocking stitch, you need to use the cream colour for the stitch on the previous row, it gets a bit complicated!
I also altered the pattern a little to make sure there wasn't a small number of stiches in a colour that wasn't conveniently located.
As with the other squares, an 'x' = purl on a knit row, and knit on a purl row.
This lower chart is the format I found to be most useful to me:
White / light blue = knit row (right side), grey / darker blue = purl row (wrong side).
An 'x' = purl on a knit row, and knit on a purl row
The numbers are just a handy guide to the number of stitches in each knit or purl block, or each colour block if there is a change in colour.
*Note* this one is not symmetrical - purl rows read from the left!
See blanket pattern for required needles & yarn.
(k = knit, p=purl)
Cast on 36 stitches
Follow the chart above!
