I met some friends for brunch at the Seven Stars in Alphington and knitted square no.7. It was a beautiful day!

It was deceptively cold despite the sunshine! I was very glad of a large hot chocolate by the fire after a motorbike ride to The Six Bells Inn in Payhembury. Once my fingers had thawed out sufficiently, I knitted square no. 6.

It was square no. 5 and cocktails at No. 5 in Exeter. A very pleasant evening with Emilie🍹🍸 whose trousers & shoes matched the furniture!

I polished off a bacon and egg sandwich at the Four Seasons Cafe in Paignton whilst knitting square no. 4. 😋

I went back to Topsham for establishment No. 3 - a gin bar and pizza restaurant, so I had tea and cake (obvs).
As my Mum would say, it was a very piglety day 💨 which made the ride interesting 🏍 but fortunately it’s not that far. The ‘secret garden’ was quite sheltered and I even saw some sun!

Square no. 2 knitted at Route 2 Topsham with company from Isabel & Tim.
This one is a mitred square to form a spiral in the blanket - so I can remember which square I started with!
Using my KnitPro row counter ring that I got for Christmas to keep track of the number of stitches either side of the decrease 😊.

Square no.1 of the new blanket project knitted at Coffee #1 - number 1 one of many (though it was tea in my case)!
Thanks to Emilie for help with the idea & company even though the temperature was fairly Arctic!
